The idea of this camp came about from the interest in the South Asian Community to learn how to dance to Hip Hop music. Learning from our mentors, we believe the best approach to this would be to connect with the music and let the drums move you before any of the dances/moves are taught. This is hard to achieve in a typical drop in workshop.

In this camp we will bring both a practitioner and academic approach to our agenda. We will help all students find the groove that already exists in our bodies. We will use tools from some of the mot reputable practitioners and academics.

The goal is to leave this camp feeling connected with the music and a notepad full of references to the sources. As always, we are here as a medium to connect you to the source.
